TankerS

A slightly quieter week compared to last week in the tank market. The market remains strong, but segments such as VLCC are experiencing less activity in the Middle East. For the smaller and more flexible tankers such as Aframax, a more positive development has been seen in the last week. More activity has also been seen outside Great Britain and the Baltics, due to the minimal supply of ships.

Capesize saw a quieter development last week, largely due to lower activity in the Pacific Ocean. Panamax saw increased activity in the Atlantic due to necessary deliveries being prevented by hurricane Ian. As the week drew to a close, these balanced towards more stable levels.
